From News Center (Text by Shen Shiyi, School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering; Photo by Meng Mianhan, Pan Feiming, and Chai Haiming, Convergence Media Center) On December 20, LZPU achieved Double Milestones in university-enterprise cooperation. In the morning, the Opening Ceremony of the Thai Tailored Class, jointly established with Shengyi Electronics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shengyi Electronics"), was held. In the afternoon, the capacity improvement training class for Thai employees of Guangdong Ellington Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Ellington Electronics") was successfully concluded. Within a single day, one program was launched while another was completed, highlighting not only LZPU's solid achievements in internationalized industry-education integration and talent cultivation, but also demonstrating the strong recognition and sustained trust placed in LZPU's services by Chinese enterprises expanding overseas. Mr. Tanapat Saengchan, Minister of the Vocational Education Commission of Thailand, and Qiu Fuming, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of LZPU, attended the ceremonies.

In his remarks, Qiu Fuming noted that the university has always regarded serving the overseas development of Chinese enterprises under the Belt and Road Initiative as an important mission. By building an international vocational education standards output model and fostering an industry-education integration community, the university enables vocational education resources to follow industrial development and accompany enterprises abroad. He emphasized that the dual-track operation of the two tailored classes represents both a comprehensive test of the university's service quality and a new starting point for deepened university-enterprise cooperation.

During the event, Mr. Tanapat Saengchan repeatedly praised the effectiveness of the cooperation with the university, noting that such programs are well aligned with Thailand's industrial development needs, provide high-quality employment channels for Thai youth, and serve as a model for China-Thailand cooperation in vocational education.

As benchmark enterprises in the electronic manufacturing sector, both Ellington Electronics and Shengyi Electronics face an urgent demand for localized talent at their factories in Thailand. Leveraging the "Chinese Language + Vocational Skills Training Center" authorized by the Vocational Education Commission of Thailand, and drawing on the university-enterprise-university collaborative talent cultivation mechanism built within the equipment intelligent technology major cluster, LZPU has integrated resources from multiple parties to establish a seamless pathway of "domestic training + cross-border internships + local employment", which aims to precisely align with enterprise needs. The successive implementation of two tailored classes for enterprises serves as a vivid example of the university's targeted response to the overseas talent demands of Chinese enterprises and its continuous optimization of service models.

It is worth noting that Shengyi Electronics has become the fourth Thailand-based PCB (printed circuit board) manufacturing enterprise successfully served by LZPU. With its strong professional reputation and proven outcomes in internationalized industry-education integration, particularly in the cultivation of "Chinese Language + Mechatronics" talent, the university has established a recognizable brand presence among Chinese-invested PCB manufacturers in Thailand, attracting an increasing number of enterprises to proactively seek cooperation.

This virtuous cycle of "serving one enterprise well, satisfying one enterprise, and attracting many more" is rooted in LZPU's long-term university-enterprise-university tripartite collaborative talent cultivation mechanism. By working jointly with leading Chinese enterprises and Thai vocational institutions, the university co-develops curricula and standards aligned with local industrial needs, exports Chinese vocational education solutions, and empowers local faculty development. This has resulted in a replicable and scalable model characterized by standards leadership and symbiotic industry-education integration.
